How to use crypto at Pakamia
Stablecoins, networks, TXIDs: what to know before you send your first coin.
Which cryptocurrencies are accepted
You can pay with 14 different coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether, Dogecoin, Tron, BNB, USD Coin, Dash, Cardano, Dai, Avalanche, Ripple and Toncoin. Well-known coins sit alongside several smaller networks. Fees, speed and familiarity are the points to weigh.
Stablecoins remove the volatility problem. If you do not want market moves to affect your balance, a stablecoin is the simplest choice. Other coins can gain or lose value while the money sits in your account.
Each coin comes with its own minimum, listed in the cashier. Amounts below it may not be credited at all. If you are new to crypto, start with a coin you already hold and a wallet you know well, and learn the steps with a small amount. For other payment options, see the deposit methods guide.
Step by step
The process takes three steps: choose the coin, copy the address, send the transfer. Little mistakes matter far more here than with a card, so do not rush.
- In the payment section, select the crypto you want to use
- Choose the same blockchain network on both sides
- Use the copy button or scan the QR code rather than typing
- Send the coins and keep the transaction hash
- Allow time for blockchain confirmation
Sending a coin on the wrong network is the most common and the most expensive mistake. Always match the network name shown on the deposit page. For the first transfer from a new wallet, a small test deposit is a cheap insurance. After it lands, the larger transfer can follow with confidence. The payments glossary defines network, TXID and confirmation.
Timing and costs
Your deposit is credited once the network has confirmed it. Fast networks credit almost at once, slower ones can take a while at peak times. If a transfer seems slow, check its status in a block explorer with your TXID.
There is no casino fee: you only cover what the blockchain charges. Network fees change with the coin and the time of day. For small amounts, a low-fee network makes more sense.
Depending on your choice, the money is kept in the coin or converted on arrival. Check the selected account currency before you send. If your account runs in KES, the coins are converted into KES on arrival. The rate used is shown before you confirm, so there are no hidden surprises. How the crypto cashier compares with the rest of the site is covered in our full Pakamia review.
Getting paid in coins
Crypto is usually the quickest way to get paid. Withdrawals take 12 hours to 3 business days, with crypto generally faster than other methods. Large sums are sometimes reviewed more carefully. Our guide to cashing out covers limits and verification for every method.
Before the coins leave
Verify the wallet address twice before confirming. Crypto payments are final, so an error cannot be undone. The lowest withdrawal is KES 100, up to $10,000 per day.
Paying in crypto does not exempt you from verification. Send your documents early, so the first payout does not wait. Clear any open rollover before you ask for a crypto payout. With both points settled, the coins tend to arrive without delay.
Promotions with crypto
Crypto deposits qualify for the bonus. The offer is 100% up to KES 76,000 + 50 free spins, with a minimum deposit of KES 750 or its equivalent. The bonus option must be on before the deposit arrives. The welcome bonus guide lists the remaining conditions.
Wagering is the same 35x over 30 days. Keep an eye on the coin price if your balance is held in a volatile coin. With a stablecoin, the numbers stay put.
Crypto-funded real-money play counts toward the weekly 10% cashback as well. Some campaigns are limited to certain methods, so read the terms. When in doubt, support can confirm whether a crypto deposit qualifies.
Crypto best practices
Volatility cuts both ways. For pure gambling, avoid adding market risk on top. Treat the deposit as spending money, not savings.
| Rule | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Save the TXID | Fast resolution of disputes |
| Check the network | Avoids lost transfers |
| Prefer pegged coins | The amount stays the same |
| Verify early | Faster first payout |
Save the TXID: with it, support can trace a missing deposit. Players in Kenya who prefer local methods can still use Equity bank, I&M bank, M-Pesa, AstroPay, iCash. One, JetonBank and USDT. Set a budget, whether you pay in coins or in cash.
